Unfortunately, I could not post anything on this page during the last month. However, today on reviewing "visit statistics" after a long gap, I really felt ashamed for this misdeed of mine. It is so encouraging to see that the blog has been read constantly in spite of absence of any new post. It seems many readers visit this page on regular basis. I'm deeply indebted by this gesture. In a way this abeyance was a blessing in disguise as it gave me a firm determination that I should keep posting on regular basis.
Just few days back I found a friend facing all blues in life. I dedicate him this post to cheer him up and also as a regret that I was not able to spare any encouraging words then. The lines written below may be of some help to others also:
Life offers various shades now and then, some grey... some blue... and even darker ones. Many times, it takes us by surprise. It seems as if we are playing the game of snake and ladder where we have been stung by a snake on the very penultimate chance of winning and fell very close to the point from where we had started. After all that's life... but in fear of failure we cannot stop trying and get strayed from the path of progress. As said by famous poet Javed Akhtar:
क्यों डरें ज़िन्दगी में क्या होगा
कुछ ना होगा तो तज़रूबा होगा
(Why to worry about future in life, if nothing happens at least 'll get more experienced)
Being optimistic helps certainly. I believe that when life closes one door for us, it opens several other. If we have to move back a little, it means that we are going to stride higher. So for the disheartened souls, I share these few lines from the Poetry "See it Through" by E. A . Guest
When you're up against a trouble,
Meet it squarely, face to face;
Lift your chin and set your shoulders,
Plant your feet and take a brace.
When it's vain to try to dodge it,
Do the best that you can do;
You may fail, but you may conquer,
See it through!
Cheer Up !!!!
